The Norton Housing Authority (NHA) office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Applications for housing can be acquired at: 213 Horace Greeley Ave. Norton, Kansas, 67654 or by calling 785-877-2714, or by clicking the Housing Application link.  ***NHA has opened up the availability to those OVER the income limits, inquire for rates as they change annually and all OVER-income leases are month-to-month. ***

Norton Housing Authority has 38 apartments and Security Deposit is $250

• Eligible applicants (lease signees) must be within the PHA’s Income Limits

• And must meet the PHA’s requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be a citizen of the United States or have eligible immigration status

  • Pass residential history background check

  • Pass police background check

  • Must not owe any money to any Public Housing Authority

  • All sources of income will be verified

  • Pet Policy-Adult Cat only $350 Deposit

• No Smoking Policy

• Natural gas, water, sewer, trash pick-up, and electricity paid by NHA

• Stove and refrigerator furnished

• Rent based on income

Families will pay 30% of adjusted gross income or 10% of unadjusted gross income, whichever is greater, or Flat Rent.
